Rose tinted recycle
So This week we decided to go on a bit of a road trip to another Recycle centre based in Witley Surrey, we were really excited about this one as it has been featured on the television programme Money for nothing,
with presenter Sarah Moore, Its a good30 minutes from B.O.B Hq and we encountered a detour through the Surrey Hills.
Helen was on the lookout for a small table or mirror and I was looking for something that just catches my eye.

Well we saw a few bits but to be honest nothing really grabbed us, sadly we came away feeling a little disappointed and empty handed, You cant expect to find bargains every day and possibly this site has already been over picked.

luckily I have a lamp project at home and Helen has a rhinestone cushion to do.
To console ourselves we went and grabbed a coffee at a nearby cafe and chatted over sites we have looked at in the week and whats going on in the art and craft world, including watching the latest Salvage Hunters episode and looking at instragram pages such as, britta_viking_angel they have some really cute little decoration ideas, Styleitdark one of our favourites, they have some amazing design images for that dramatic bohemian feel and interior curve is another great page on instagram.
Also Liberty's one of our favourite British iconic stores revealed their Christmas windows animals are in again.

or this years theme Liberty's fabric designer Ffion Griffith and emerging poet, Gabrielle Djanogly worked closely together to create the enchanted world of these yule-tide creatures for print, verse and display.
We Then decided to take a look at Homebase we must be odd women as both of us got very excited by the paints available, so much choice.

Something caught my eye rose gold spray paint and Helen took a look at the chalk paints in sprays she's up for trying these out.
Helen also found some inspiration with sequin cushions and reindeer design.

So Rose is still in and glitter and glam seem to be on the cards for christmas,
after our trip out Helen decided to complete another Rhinestone cushion.

and I decided to upcycle two lamps for my living room which is currently undergoing a total re vamp.
Helen used a stencil rhinestone kit and I used a rose gold spray,

I used several coats to cover the lamp bases leaving them to dry in between, I sprayed them outside, I have completed the look with some black shades I picked up in a charity shop from an almost african design to Glamour in a couple of hours, they will look great in my living room which Im calling Bohemian glam

Helens Cushion will be on sale at www.bobboutique.co.uk and she will have a selection for sale at the Christmas Shopping evening we will be attending on the 26th of November and 10th of December at Denbies wine Estate Dorking Surrey from 5pm to 8pm, we will be showing lots of work different work available on the evening.
For this week its bye for now we will see you again next week.
